WELCOME TO REC.ARTS.SF.TV.BABYLON5 Grid Epsilon Coords. 470/18/22
+-------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Before posting anything here, PLEASE heed the following guidelines:
+-------------------------------------------------------------------------+

1) Most importantly, please DO NOT POST STORY IDEAS here. Babylon 5's own
creator, J. Michael Straczynski [JMS], hangs out here, and as he puts it,

If story ideas start appearing on this group, I'll have to withdraw.
It ain't something I like saying, because I know how it sounds, but
that's the reality of it, in this very, very litigious society.

2) If you have any general questions about B5 (not specific episode points),
it's VERY likely that JMS has already talked about it. You might want to
check out the FAQ and/or B5-JMS-answers.txt from the FTP site below.

3) The FTP site is at ftp.hyperion.com, in the /pub/Babylon-5 directory.
(For now, you should use the *faster* echo site, ftp.uml.edu.)
You can find TV-station lists, GIFs, the FAQ, the interactive demos, etc.

3) MANY people read this group from places where the series hasn't started.
If you are going to discuss specifics of an episode you have seen,
please put *SPOILERS* in the subject line, and insert a ^L (control-L)
or AT LEAST 30 blank lines before you start giving anything away! :)

4) JMS does not have the ability to quote the original question in his
replies since he is receiving the articles via mail on GEnie. With
a little practice... you should be able to keep track of what he is
talking about. We would rather have him answering more questions than
have him wasting his time retyping every single question.

+-------------------------------------------------------------------------+
If everybody can follow these guidelines, which have become well-
established over the last several months, we should be able to
continue to enjoy a very high-quality newsgroup here. Having the
creator of the show around is a real treat, and we all would
like to keep it that way! (Once you've read this message, just
put the subject into your "kill" file to ignore it from now on.)
