The final chapter dealt with the concept of the "knight" in television
and cinema and among other items (like the Jedi Knights) there was an
entry for "The Rangers of Babylon 5" where they discussed the concept of
how the Rangers embody many of the qualities of the classic Knight
(loyalty, courage, self-sacrifice, defense of the innocent, etc.).
The author also quotes Marcus' line about: (paraphrased) "I am a Ranger.
I walk in the dark places where others will not follow. I stand on the
bridge and no one may pass. I live for the One, I die for the One."
The image accompanying the blurb was Lennier (although not in his Ranger
uniform).
Pretty cool that B5 has a mention in what is undoubtedly a reference
work that might be resident in many libraries.
The book looks interesting and would probably be a great gift for a
member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).
