I have no idea of the truth of this, but if it were so, cursed be the
trolls who caused that script to die...
BTW, "Avatar" was an excellent movie. Words cannot describe the beauty
of the cinematography, absolutely fantastic. I saw it in a digital 3D
theater, the 3D was very well done, subtle, yet effective.

I believe that Cameron is being misquoted when they say he loved the script.
According to this article

he hasn't seen JMS' script yet but expected to shortly. What he said he loved
was Forbidden Planet.

I think that "Avatar" will be my Christmas day movie.

I think this refers to Joe's *new* Forbidden Planet script.

That would be great. If only JMS could persuade Cameron to do a 250
million dollar B5 movie! I know, I know, those are just dreams! :-)

That's correct. The quote in question is referring to JMS's involvement with
the script specifically, and Cameron says this:
>> "That's a project that I'm actively involved in, but I haven't made any
decisions about it yet," Cameron said, adding "I love 'Forbidden Planet.'" <<

Just stay away from the website if you know anything about actual
science. Or business. Well, leastwise most of that didn't get into the
movie, which has cues to a considerably different situation and
background. It's a good movie.
