We are almost through with B5 here in germany and having just seen "The
Fall of Centauri Prime" I wonder why you are so pessimistic? When Londo
looked at the sky again, I realized, that the story with the Centauri
waging war on others under Shadow influence, almost resulting in their
destruction was repeating, only this time the ending for Londo was bad!
You did a similar thing with the flashforward in "Deconstruction", where
the fate of Earth was repeated only without Sheridan to save it from
complete destruction ending in the "Great Burn". Don't you think the
people will never learn from history? At least I have hope that one day
they will... (although the conflicts in former Jugoslavia deny this)

P.S.: Did you intend to show the fall of CP from the beginning or was it
the compressing the 4. season which made it possible?

P.P.S.: I'm still bugged whether Kosh was searching for someone like
Sheridan to bring him to Lorien or if everything rather came together
for him after the confrontation with Sheridan in "Interludes"?

As Ivanova recited at the end of "Infection"(the episode with the
bio-mechanical war machine running wild) "Those who forget the past are
doomed to repeat it" And it looks like the people of Earth forgot the past.

Actually, I'm something of an optimist, all things considered. I've just
learned that only hard roads lead to good places.

Just goes to show that asphalt and concrete highways beat dirt ones

Let's see, you said you cracked a tooth before the meeting selling B5, have had
pneumonia, memory loss (one of your scripts caught you by surprise?), back
problems and a full head of gray hair after 10 years. jms, your supposed to
walk the road, not build it.
