Gates McFadden in her latest role. She plays a stuffy rich mother in a
movie called _Make the Yuletide Gay_. Not like Wesley's mother at all.

LOL! At first glance I misread that as "slutty rich mother". I have
to say I'm a little disappointed. <g>

What I want to know is, what makes this "bizarre"? I mean, if you were to
say the character was a human-parrot hybrid, that would be bizarre. Or that
she was a stuffy rich mother who also happened to be a cannibal, that would
be bizarre. But this sounds like a fairly ordinary role. Bizarre?

No, that would more likely have been Claudia Christian's character in
"The Chase" :)

Picking nits - this would be an ST ACTOR sighting, not a "character"
sighting. And I agree with Amy; what's so "bizarre" about an actor taking
a gig?

But if it is Beverly Crusher performing in a 21st century movie, then
it
is bizarre. (Not to say the ST franchies shies away from using time-
travel
all the errr time.)

Yeah really!

Good to see her getting work, I always liked her.
