In Dark Apprentice, Leia discovers that Mon Mothma is dying. I was
if he had to get any permission to do this, that is of course if she does
die?
Just wondering

I'll give you a hint - she won't die!

Nah, she won't die. They'll realize somehow that the guy from the Imperial
Academy had some sort of toxin in his wine that he threw on her and find
an antidote. He took too much time making it obvious with his 2 hip flasks
to just make it a simple death.

Well, I've not read the book, but Anderson has been cited, numerous
times, as saying that one of the pre-conditions that LucasArts set on the
new crop of authors was that they were not allowed to kill any of the
characters who appeared in the films.

My guess is that someone will come up with a miracle cure just in the nick
of time. Probably another drink, splashed in her face at an opportune
moment :).

THANKS,, your just saved me a reread I had completely forgotten about the
spilled drink from that reception. Now, I at least have figured out who is
responsible for the poisoning of Mon Mothma.
