Aunt Beru Dubbed?

I've got a question for you SW gods:

I thought I remember reading way back when that Aunt Beru's voice was
dubbed. Not only that, but I thought I remember that the actress who
played her (I apologize for not remembering her name ;) was some euro-aunt
who didn't even speak english. Watching the movies over the years I've
always noticed that the voice seems dubbed and wondered what Uncle George
was thinking? Aren't Aunt type actresses a dime a dozen? Couldn't George
find someone to say her five lines (in english) and look somewhat quiet and
unimportant. Or am I way off and hallucinating again?

I'm sure she was dubbed. I think most of the British actors in the film
were dubbed. Except that one X-Wing squadron leader who used at least two
different American accents, perhaps. I think he went from New York to
southern. Wedge was dubbed, I think, as Lawson's accent in ROTJ slipped to
British once and in SW was all American.

Possible, except I forgot to add that the voices don't sound quite right
somehow. Also Lawson does tend to go in and out of accents, if you've
heard the "Heir to the Empire" audio tape. I've always enjoyed how,
because of his Scottish accent, he pronounces "Luke" and "look" so they
sound the same. And the way he says "Rogue Squadron" sounds very neat.
