Obi Won Kenobi and Darth Vader duel on the Death Star, while Luke, Han,
Leia, R2D2, and C3PO try to get back to the Millennium Falcon. When Obi
sees that his companions are near the ship, he drops his defenses and
Vader kills him. At that moment, his body disappears.
If Vader had cut off one of Obi's hands before killing him, what would
have happened to the severed hand? Would it have remained or would it
have disappeared too?

It would have remained. Vader would pick it up as a trophy
and say "Aha! At least I have your hand!" Then the hand
would disappear too, and Vader would cry out "D'oh!"

I wonder what Boba did with Jango's body. Apparently it was just the
helmet he was holding up in the movie, but seeing the disembodied head
out on the ground would've been enough to mess him up a lot more than
Anakin ever became.
And considering that he grew up looking exactly like Jango, I wonder if
Boba could ever manage to look at himself in the mirror and shave under
his chin.
That reminds me... didja hear they're making a 5-bladed razor? "This is
madness!"

It made me think of the silly sounds guy in Police academy 1, Jones I think
the character was called. There was a point where he was shaving, then made
like the shaver was going out of control.

I'm assuming that Obi-Wan's body had disappeared because Darth Vader had
inflicted an immediately fatal wound, by slicing his body in two. Since cutting
off a hand would not be immediately fatal, Obi-Wan would not have disappeared
just from losing a hand!
