The LucasArts Company Store Catalog, Number 12, says on page 23 that "in
the hangar bay scene featured in ROTJ, look closely and you'll see that
one of the stormtroopers has a "smiley face" painted on his helmet."

Obviously I didn't look close enough.. can anyone give me a definite
pinpoint as to where this bit is???

I too have read this message and spent hours looking for the 'smiley face'
I have given up and claim it to be included with missing shoes and potatoe
asteroids!

I never saw it myself =:(

I was told, though, that it is a Scouttrooper who appears in one of the back
rows. It can only be seen in the letterbox edition IIRC.

While on the topic of elusive bloopers.. Could someone please tell me what

Jesus! He does not say "Carrie." Listen to it really closely. He says
something to the effect of "Heey!" or "Yaay!" The inflection is all
wrong for him to be saying "Carrie."

I think he says "Carrie" for one main reason: he says it too long for it
to be "Hey!" or "Yay!" "Carrie" is a two syllable word, while "Hey",
etc. are one syllable words. You can pretty much tell that it is a two
syllable word that he says. Anyone ever put this to a computer dictator
(sp?)?

It is a scene in ANH after Luke blew away the evil Death Star and return
to the docking port at Yavin to be congradulated by hundreds of rebel
soilders and maintenence men and oh yeah...Carrie...or is it Leia?

Kate-lets face it- he does say Carrie. Big Geogre confirmed this one
himself. I didn't have to listen that close. It sounds like Carrie to
me. Do this little experiment. Run down the stairs (any stairs will
do) and once you reached the bottom turn to your left and yell "Carrie"
in an excited manner. I bet you sound a lot like Mark.

After he blew up the DSI, Luke is jumping out of his X-wing into a mass of
cheering rebels, and Leia comes running up. Some claim he said "Carrie", but it
just sounds to me like "Gaaaa" so who knows. My sound isn't the best. However
Mark Hamill claims he said "Heeey" but it doesn't sound like that either.

I'm sure everyone's already seen the one where Luke (ESB, lightsaber duel,
Bespin) drops off the ledge right after knocking Vader off backwards.
When Luke walks over to the far left of the screen and jumps down, you can
hear him hit a tramp and bounce. His head and shoulders come back into
view. It has to be my favorite blooper because it is so blatant.

Sure. It's supposed to be when Luke, Han, Wedge, etc. get back from destroying
the Death Star. Luke jumps from his X-Wing and shouts "Carrie" at Leia.

Some say that he was shouting something to the effect of Horray or We Did It! You
listen and you be the judge. :-)

So who would that make Leia -- Joanie? Jenny Piccolo (wasn't that her
friend's name)? And does that mean that Han Solo is really Richie
Cunningham? (I guess that would make Chewbacca either Potsie or Ralph
Malph.) And Ben Kenobi -- Al or that guy played by Pat "Wax On! Wax

O, the endless possibilities!

My voice is a little higher, actually. Besides, if I was laughing and
jumping, a simple "hey" would turn into a multisyllabic word.

The distinct lack of consonants is the giveaway, doll.

I've read on CIS that Mark Hamill claims this is not true. He said that he
said "Where is..." as in "Where is she", but cut off by the frenzy around
him. Don't know whether this is true or he made it up, though.

How would George know exactly what Mark said? All he's got to go on is
what it sounds like, same as us.

so much for breathing, my cloud nine fell from grace. loss of everything
where is my identity. if i could find what is left of me. (so much for letting
go, when you have nothing left to hold. the words that slid off your tongue,
my everything, your nothing.) i know that i don't mean much to you. but
you mean the world to me. devotion, an undying dead. harrowing, bleed
you out of me. the he said, she said falsity, leave it be. i just want to go

they call love. i am a stranger. i will not, i have not, i can never be like him.

Anyhow, I've never actually seen this happen, I'm not sure why, but
I've never looked for it, so presumably something more important is
happening when he bops himself.
(And yes, I know where 'bouts in the movie it is)
