In Ep. I we see little Anakin building and then activating C-3P0, so as to
explain the droids origin. However, I recently re-looked at my "Guide to the
Star Wars Universe" which is basically an encyclopedia of all things SW, and
according to the timeline C-3P0 was activated in 112, quite some time before
Anakin was even born in 55. I'm not usually the type to nitpick over such
things, but Lucas should be smart enough to consult the details of his own
story before attempting to expand on it.
