Membership Information
Full Convention Pre-Registration Memberships
- $15.00 thru Jan. 1, 2004
- $20.00 Jan. 1 �€" May 20, 2004
- After May 20 all memberships must be purchased at the convention.
- kids 12 years old and younger are FREE!
Group membership ($10 per person) In order to qualify for the group
rate the group must have at least 15 members purchase memberships at
the time of purchase. Any additional members of the group submitted to
us can get their memberships at the group rate.
To purchase a convention membership before May 20th, send the
completed Sci-Fi Summer Con 2004 membership form (from the web page or
at any one of our many tables at local conventions) and payment to:

Memberships at the convention
At the convention the group and child memberships are the same as
mentioned above. We also have the following memberships at the show:
Individual memberships at the door for full con are $25
Friday evening only $5
Saturday only $15

It is very important that you mention Sci-Fi Summer Con when getting a
room in order to get the special low room rate.
The Crown Plaza Powers Ferry hotel is an excellent place for a
convention and at this great special rate we expect the hotel to sell
out very quickly as it did last year.

Table Information
At Sci-Fi Summer we have many different table choices. Displaying your
information and products at a tables maximises your exposure to the
attendees. The following is a list of the tables the convention
offers.
Fan tables
If you represent a club, another convention or other group that would
like to promote yourself we offer these fan tables for $10 for the
entire convention. This table price does not include a convention
membership. Limit 2 tables per club. No price increase.
Dealer tables
If you are an individual selling merchandise we offer dealer tables
for $20. This table price does not include a convention membership.
These tables will be located in the pavilion. Limit 2 tables per
dealer. Prices increase to $40 each after 1 Jan 2004.
Retailer tables
If you are representing a retailer (you are selling for a company) we
offer retailer tables for $30. This table price DOES include one
convention membership. Limit 2 tables per dealer. Prices increase to
$40 each after 1 Jan 2004.

Anachronistic ART SHOW!
There are many different sections to the SCI-FI SUMMER Art Show. The
following is a quick orientation.
ART GALLERY: In the main art show room the majority of the space is
used by the art gallery. Many artists will debut new art works at this
years SCI-FI SUMMER. The art gallery consists of all the hanging
panels 3-D free standing art in the middle of the room, and all tables
not in one of the artist bazaars along the perimeter walls. Please
don't feel rushed. Take the time to look at each piece.
PRINT SHOP: Adjacent to the art gallery is the print shop featuring
limited edition prints from artists in the show. These items are
available for the marked price.
Art Show Programming: You want to learn how they make these wonderful
creations. How about watching artists in drawing contests? If your an
artist, you can also learn many tips and tricks to help improve and
market your art. The art show programming has a huge variety of items
for both the attendee and the artist.
The Art Show Art Auction : So you found a piece of work that you
really must take home. But when you went to buy it someone had already
put a bid on it. Now you must go to the art auction and win that
piece at all costs! The art auction isn't just for the buyers but it's
also great entertainment. From the auctioneers building up the pace of
the bids to the buyers who can battle it out in an exhaustive contest.
We typically have artwork from artists around the world. Even if you
don't think you can attend these shows we do accept mail-in artwork.

Commodious Mystery Men COSTUME CONTEST!
Oh sure, like we're gonna have a con without a costume contest!
Untalented amateurs facing an unruly crowd armed to the teeth with
over-ripe fruits and vegetables! What could be more entertaining???
SCI-FI SUMMER CON GAMING!
Gaming til you drop from Friday evening until sunday evening. In 2003,
we had to kick the gamers out on Sunday evening because they did not
want to stop playing, even tho the convention was over! We could be
wrong, but we think the gaming was just that good, or they were just
that dedicated (or both)!

We will have some of the best pinball and video games from the past at
the convention. The tentative list includes:
