No.

For the moment, yes. It is the most open forum, available to all,
with no restrictions upon anyone to post - so the freest and most
sincere of opinions can be published. On the other hand, there are
heavy penalties for publishing here under your own name and identity,
as I do. You are automatically kicked out of all possible employment,
as I have found out - there exist agencies which monitor each and
every word anyone has ever written, and this profile is given to every
prospective employer. They all ask for such profiles these days, and
if they find any published profile, any controversy, there is no job
for the fellow. Free speech thus is a huge luxury in the western
world these days, you gotta pay a very heavy price for it. Still,
there are some advantages for doing so. Publishing here, and holding
your ground here, is far far more honest and correct than publishing
in some journal only a few read. I am making my ideas open to the
world, and if that bothers anyone, what can anyone do about it? This
Usenet is a place for creativity, for sharing ideas, from learning
matters - and also this is a place where when writes under one's own
name, with an open identity, the subject matter is naturally
copyrighted. So, it makes a lot of sense for me to write my new ideas
here. Anyone can read them, they will be archived, for all time to
come. No one can tamper them - so this is all good, good, good.
Of course, I will be happy to go and speak in any worthy institution
where I am called, and publish in any paper if I am invited to do so.
I am certainly not going to demean myself by knocking at doors and
getting jeers in return. Been there, done that!

I am surprised by the low quality of intellect of some posters, who
instead of making scientific comments resort to personal attacks. I
have read in one post, by a person calling himself NonEinstein, that
5% physicists only are honest, the rest are all einsteinian frauds by
implication. So there is hope, if as many as 5% are decent honest
objective people. Just so happens, these days they have no money or
influence, as the frauds have gobbled it all for their fraudulent
projects. Also, the 5% is naturally intimidated, they too want to
retain their jobs.
I don't know when, but sooner or later some scientist somewhere will
get some guts or money, some politician will be motivated, and so I
will get some funding to prove my work. Unless I make noise from time
to time (as I am doing now) nobody will ever care.
Cheers,
Arindam (bin Einstein) Banerjee
