Will...the trolls are a sandbox...I have 4 critical editions of the works by
Nabokov I consider pivotal for my book-in-progress (PALE FIRE and ADA,
LETTERS TO VERA, SELECTED POEMS), plus 5 other studies on his work
(principally by Nabokov family friend Brian Boyd, who has shared with me).
Their smarmy nonsense I do not take seriously, and I know you don't. They
don't read, but don't hesitate to offer nonsense commentaries on what they
do not grasp. What I find interesting is they are so shocked when you (or I)
find a book to study -- how else is one to do this? Smoke blankets? 'Brooke'
and 'ME' dress up in their hubcap-sized curlers, lean over their shadows,
and babble. They never write, but they are unable. They are parasites...and
they are one of the primary reasons other poets do not post here. They can
see the troll frauds.

Hello Stephan, I have several Russian and Soviet era poetry books, and was a
follower of Samizdat, the underground small press of the 1960s-90s, but no
books by Nabokov as of yet.
