Poorly punctuated, and very bad.
All time lows on this, pixie.
Just my opinion.
You should read some good poetry.
--
I'm one team, working alone.
Visit my ribjoint: http:// ....
I read some good poetry and my opinion is this:
That my opinion doesn't really matter, at the moment anyway,
and if I thought it did I would think it mattered less to her.
Its like the Sonny and Cher song "Baby don't go"
who cares what I think about it?
In other words, you can't disagree for reasons of poetry,
but don't want to agree for /other/ reasons.
I mean, this is total garbage, and she really should know.
If it was a newbie, you would rub their face in it.
"In other words, you can't disagree for reasons of poetry,

>
No, what I meant was it doesn't matter (to her) that I think it good or not,
she wrote it for herself, not for you or I. Well, how do I know this, you
may be asking yourself. I know it to be true because I have read a number
of her poems, some going back twenty years so you see, I base my opinion on
the body of her work. She did not ask for a c&c, so I assume she wrote it
because, like me, poetry gives voice where otherwise none exists. Could my
opinion be skewed because I also happen to think her a kind soul, maybe, but
I also read yours and chucks (his honest ones) as objectively as I am able,
and taking all things into consideration.
I have no idea why it is you write poetry but I do know why I fumble with it
and I think I know why she does. If she were a newbie I would suggest she
read some good poetry but she is not and if she were there does come a point
of diminishing returns. A point where I could invalidate my opinion by
neglecting the other side of criticism, in other words "this is total
garbage" is more a reflection of the speaker then a part of formal critique,
even our Mr. Ross bends over backwards to help a willing neophyte. To say
"this is total garbage" once ok but to repeat it in preceding critiques is
pointless, divisive, and contentious in nature.

Congrats, Marg - and nicely said.

Read the thread "Another One/" posted by Lmdelsanto
and tell me poetry is not more then the sum of its parts.
Fade to this thread, is it worth it? You fritter away your time
here on trifle's when with just a few well thought out lines
one could chance immortality, it's a risk we all would gladly take,
ain't it? Ya know what a good poem is
its one you can fuckin remember.
No, strictly speaking, it is clear she has no love of language.
She is a poetry groupie who likes poetry, but only what I consider
the crap side of poetry.
She wrote it so she show off, "as if" she is a poet.
There are more like that.
If that was all she was, I would not raise a testis.
BUT...
In addition, she swaggers around bashing others constantly.
Dennis and others do it also, but she is truly stupid in her insults,
much like you. (and you really think you look better than chuck?)
Group-think will pretty much always form a scapegoat.
I say pandora is much better than chuck, I nominate her for
SCAPEGOAT OF USENET POETRY..
I will go with a bald bike messenger from Florida any day,
to some saggy old biddie from cold-tit country.
I don't want to talk about Detroit, or why anyone
would want to live there.
Stupid, hunh?
Of course.
> Well, how do I know this, you

Not quite 2 decades, but no surprise.
> She did not ask for a c&c, so I assume she wrote it
> because, like me, poetry gives voice where otherwise none exists.
Then why are 90+ percent of her postings hatred?
Why does she burn bridges with her friends because they
aren't as obsessed with me as she is?
> Could my
> opinion be skewed because I also happen to think her a kind soul,
Feh.
And you just got done telling me about DOSing my website?
And you think it is fine for some moron (probably you) to post
my address on the Usenet.
I've said it before. I would never do such a thing.
I can't even bring myself to post humorous personal ads for
you on the gay teen / herpes etc. groups.
Sorry. On reflection, I'm just not capable.
You win on that one Mikey.
I can't really approach your levels of jerkitude.

If she stops being viperous, I haven't a problem with her,
and she can post a poem every 5 minutes if she wants.
I wouldn't say a verd.

Sometimes my typing hands can't re-elucidate the /problems/
with her attempts at every encounter.
I am working on advanced cut/paste type features in Uzzinet
that should make it easier.
As it is, I just did a nice feature that:
At the click of a right menu, I can load the edit space with
the last 100 postings of whatever person I am looking at,
(either top-level, or all postings), all de- >'ed
(other people's text removed, just what they said)
Would make a Tofu Remix quite easy.
I do need to take a trip to alt.test or something, and really
/get a load off/.
> even our Mr. Ross bends over backwards to help a willing neophyte.
He used to some, yes.
He is a nutcase.
You talk about tolerance here... where is Peter's tolerance for Walter Alter?
I don't read Walter much, but hey.
Divisive? Contentious?
> To say
> "this is total garbage" once ok but to repeat it in preceding critiques is
> pointless, divisive, and contentious in nature.
To do so to me is similarly, blah blah etc.
..but REALLY, if you are having fun, I am, enough for now...
She said she was gone, and now she is back.
Fine.
If her insult / (even attempted) poetry ratio is reasonable,
I will be also.
If she calls me an axe murderer continually, I will have her
arrested.
It will fall somewhere in the middle.
If Poetry is the hammer,
Got nail?
I could cite hundreds of similar threads between you and
chuck, or pixie and chuck.
Is that worth it?

Yes.
I am aware I am capable of creating poetry that is

I do /that/ far more than the average world citizen.

No kidding. That wasn't a freebie, that was SBC?
What did they say about me? Anything?
Who is Richard Conlin?
I have never lost an account, as of yet.
Never been warned about anything,
and assume I am reasonable enough.
If not, I will comply.
I don't think that my name changing, nor my 3-4 impish

Do whatever. My IP is static. Filter it.
You don't understand the word "spam".
It refers to commercial postings/email.
Not on-topic postings, just because you don't like me.
> The ip number you posted is dynamic and from my ameritech account.
I just posted for fun.
Like that was hard to figure?
I guess that will put a damper on your plans to sue SBC?
Personally, I think sueing me directly makes the most sense,
and would waste the most of your money.

"No kidding. That wasn't a freebie, that was SBC?
What did they say about me? Anything?
Who is Richard Conlin?"
You ask a lot of questions! I don't use a "freebie"
I had News.com but paid them with the same credit card as I did
"Church of the swimming elephant" (long story) Steve at COTSE and I didn't
see eye to eye on several points so I canceled my account, he didn't, so I
canceled the credit card which in turn canceled the News.com account. After
SBC killed cook368@ I singed up with Supernews.
Ameritech's news uses a slow server and has poor article retention, which is
why I opted for a third party news service in the first place. Richard
Conlin is a name I used to generate another SBCAmeritech account so as to be
able to use a service for which I pay.
No, your name did not come up. My problem with SBCAmeritech has little to
do with you and more to do with their shoddy service. They have no
complaint department, their abuse department is a dead end auto response, in
fact Tom you can pretty much do anything you like,
for the time being anyway. Someone from their corporate office did send me
an e-mail and followed up with a phone call today, probably because I filed
a small claims suit for the 5.95 a month I now pay Supernews and for which
they refused to credit to my account, but, they allowed one month credit and
I created another SBCameritech identity so the suit is now over,
to bad as I was looking forward to my day in court. There is nothing I like
better then exposing corporations, government and individuals that take
advantage of people, for the scum that they are.
"I have never lost an account, as of yet.
Never been warned about anything,
and assume I am reasonable enough.
If not, I will comply.
I don't think that my name changing, nor my 3-4 impish

If you read the entire SBC TOS you will find that you are in violation,
but, the SBC TOS is just to appease the public. My opinion is that your
activity
is both unethical and unreasonable, my only complaint to SBC was when you
forged a header so as to make it appear it had originated from me, as I said
that went nowhere.
So spam, flood, follow and forge to your hearts content as the only persons
who will take issue with it are people like me.
"Like that was hard to figure?
I guess that will put a damper on your plans to sue SBC?
Personally, I think sueing me directly makes the most sense,
and would waste the most of your money.
Ukiah is nice in the fall, and there is a Motel 6.

You think this is a me against you thing?
Again you miss the point. The SBC suit went off as planed
but not for the reasons you think.
Marg
The thing with SBC is this:
I don't have to get 4 virus's a day, they have the technology to filter
those
I don't have to suffer ten pieces of junk mail a day, they have the
technology to filter those
But they also provide Internet access to a good number of spaming companies,
you do see the problem. True the responsibility for my computer security
does fall to me first but they work hand in hand with spamers to help avoid
most simple, known techniques of blocking spam.
SBCAmeritech is fast becoming a monopoly in the telecommunications
business, a true good old fashioned trust and we pay the price. There is a
law that goes into effect in Michigan September first that requires isp's to
provide a method for preventing spam, I cant wait for Sep first, I will be
one of the first on the phone to them.
Free speech ends where my computer begins!
'Up the organization!'
Attica! Attica! Attica! Attica!
No, I think it is a you against yourself thing.
Perhaps you will come out better than before.
You have threatened me with computer hacking,
DOS, and are problably the one posting my address info.
You are dispicable to the point of criminality,
and yet pose as self-righteous.
You have no self-control, much like Tex.
> The SBC suit went off as planed
> but not for the reasons you think.
As usual, I can't make this out.
You are saying that you are filing suit against SBC,
but not for whatever you think I think?
(but I have no idea why you would sue SBC, only that
you said you would. What is your cause of action?)
You sound like all kinds of fun.

Not that you will ever like my perverted little ass,
but it is mutual, and it is Usenet.
Maybe on a few posts, but my impersonations were on Newsfeeds.
> but, the SBC TOS is just to appease the public.
Cover their asses.
It is my opinion that they should not be the police.
Who are they to decide my case, your case.
Too complex, and requires due process, no matter how
painful it is.
> My opinion is that your
> activity
> is both unethical and unreasonable,
I feel the same about being hacked, DOS, and personal
address info posted.
Those things, I could easily get DA's interested in.
/YOU/ are unethical and unreasonable, not me.
> my only complaint to SBC was when you
> forged a header so as to make it appear it had originated from me, as I said
> that went nowhere.
Did I do so with the SBC account?
If so, it shouldn't have been, but rather from Newsfeeds, and it was
a mistake. Newsfeeds has no policy on impersonating other Usenet users,
and they told me so explicitly.
Nevertheless, I have repeatedly said that I am not interested in direct
impersonation, since it would fall into harassment very quickly.
It is over for me, even though you or whoever continues the lowlevel
bullshit. Cute, but not upsetting at all.
I absolutely contend that even direct impersonation on the level we are talking
about is not criminal in any way, as long as it isn't ongoing, and not even close
to things like hacking and DOS.
> So spam, flood, follow and forge to your hearts content as the only persons
> who will take issue with it are people like me.
I am doing none of it, but you will complain nonetheless.
"No, I think it is a you against yourself thing.
Perhaps you will come out better than before."
Philosophically speaking it most always a
"you against yourself thing" in that regard
your cause is a failed one, Perhaps you will
come out better than before.
"You have threatened me with computer hacking,
DOS, and are problably the one posting my address info."
So, threat and doing are two different things,
and if I did you could never prove it, I'm smarter than you.
Again, you made public your personal info, someone
just reposted that which you already had.
"You are dispicable to the point of criminality,
and yet pose as self-righteous."
Yes, when it comes to misguided dupes like
yourself and chuck I have nary an ounce of scruples
I'm down right evil
"You have no self-control, much like Tex."
I'm not the moron flooding, following, forging,
posting dozens of irrelevant articles, that would be you.
> The SBC suit went off as planed
> but not for the reasons you think.
"As usual, I can't make this out"
Reading comprehension problems?
Or was T.S correct?
"You are saying that you are filing suit against SBC,
but not for whatever you think I think?
(but I have no idea why you would sue SBC, only that
you said you would. What is your cause of action?)"
I'm not going to explain this one again,
I responded further up In the thread .
On the contrary I do I like you, just don't like the things you do.
As to the 'This is Usenet, not reality' excuse
I long ago debunked that misguided notion.
"Maybe on a few posts, but my impersonations were on Newsfeeds."
So, who cares?
> but, the SBC TOS is just to appease the public.
"Cover their asses.
It is my opinion that they should not be the police."
Not entirely, but they do have an obligation to both their
customers and the public in general, they have that obligation
because they are a public utility
"Who are they to decide my case, your case.
Too complex, and requires due process, no matter how
painful it is."
I was ready.
> My opinion is that your
> activity

"I feel the same about being hacked, DOS, and personal
address info posted."
None of those things were done to you by me
Do you have proof?
"Those things, I could easily get DA's interested in."
Not this song and dance again! Call um up!
"/YOU/ are unethical and unreasonable, not me."
I'm not flooding, forging, faking, following
I said all this before, haven't I?
"Did I do so with the SBC account?"
With their service, yes
" It is over for me, even though you or whoever continues the lowlevel
bullshit. Cute, but not upsetting at all."
That's good to hear
"I absolutely contend that even direct impersonation on the level we are
talking
about is not criminal in any way, as long as it isn't ongoing, and not even

Can you prove those things?

You have toned down somewhat, now just learn to mind
your own P's and Q's and heaven and bliss will once again
reign over Usenet, least our little corner
Congratulations Marg. (We're 8 months behind you).

I just couldn't figure out why you were
planing your ISP.
Perhaps they had rough edges, or you
had an extra airplane?
Just your broken English that no one
can ever trust without bringing their own commas.
Newsfeeds has no policy on impersonation. Period.
I don't think they would do anything without a court order.
SBC probably would, but I don't know. Don't want to test it.

They have an obligation to stay out of government.

Of course I have proof.

If you carry out your threats, what more?
You seem quite deranged, and far worse off than I am.

It is good to hear pandora stop harassing people, and go "low profile" (she says).
It is good to hear both texmex and you learn about Usenet.
It is good to hear jr shutup (a little) and be a little valuable.
It will be good to hear people talk about poetry rather
than florida.

That you threatened them, yes.
Even if you cancel the message, they are on my server.

Don't fuck with me like the above paragraph, and you might
get a Tom you like better.
Your call.
I'm only being nice because of the meds. :-)
"Newsfeeds has no policy on impersonation. Period.

Why this inane conversation? Who gives a shit
about Newsfeeds or SBC.

"They have an obligation to stay out of government."
What the fuck are you talking about?
"Government"?

Do you read? What about my explanation of the matter
did you not understand?
"You threatened. Your friends saw it.
Of course I have proof."
Well, add this one then:
On Tuesday next I will cause
your left ear to spasm uncontrollably
> "Those things, I could easily get DA's interested in."

I am doing my best

If you carry out your threats, what more?
"what more" what?
What on earth are you babbling about?
"You seem quite deranged, and far worse off than I am."
I don't that's possible
"Doubtful, but mistake if true. Message-id's?
Press it if you want to beat dead horses."
What are you talking about?
Your lack of comprehension is astounding
"It is good to hear pandora stop harassing people, and go "low profile" (she
says).
It is good to hear both texmex and you learn about Usenet.

"poetry rather than florida."
Or Tom
It is you that followers pandora from post to post
Look at the last three of hers.
"learn about Usenet" you should be paying me for these conversations
Mr. Lost log files, don't know what DoS is, shareware stealing staggering
idiot.
> Can you prove those things?
"That you threatened them, yes."
Well, add this one then:
On Friday next I will cause
your right ear to spasm uncontrollably
"Even if you cancel the message, they are on my server."
Ok
"Don't fuck with me like the above paragraph, and you might
get a Tom you like better."
Your call.
Ok, I'll make that call
and get help for your drug problem!
I've never harassed anyone. Your following me around from post to post
could be construed to be harassment however. It's also good to see that
you're finally admitting to your obsessions.
[snip]
> It is good to hear both texmex and you learn about Usenet.
They already know way more than you'll ever learn in your lifetime.
> It is good to hear jr shutup (a little) and be a little valuable.
He's far more valuable (and always has been) than you'll ever be. You see,
an idiot can aspire to be a prince but he has to be attractive in some way;
you're not.
> It will be good to hear people talk about poetry rather
> than florida."
You've never talked about poetry, ever, only your generator and your desire
to steal the poetry of others. People called you on that and you've been
hissyfitting ever since.

He follows me around even more than he follows you, but luckily for
him I just laugh and think about how hard he's been trolled.

Yes, you were there as a witness.
Btw, are you part of this "everyone", who according to Tommy thinks I
should leave RAP? ;-)

Not and I suggest that the only ones who would wish for you to leave are
Tommy and his sock puppets. If there is anyone else, I'd certainly
appreciate them standing up and saying so.

"Tommy thinks "!
If I may
As this thread proves;
he does not, he only talks.

Well your wink ;-) indicates you don't mean this question seriously but
since there's a grain of truth in every joke let me protest through my 600

It was an honest question, mikey.
Thank you again Marg .
You have doubtless helped many people before me and will hopefully continue
to do the same for many years yet .

Is that your first compliment?
"It was a simple statement of fact. It wasn't a compliment . "
It was an honest question, mikey.

True.
When she is confronted with people more intelligent than she is
she turns into a very loud-mouthed, obnoxious person.
Fools rush in, where angels fear to tread.
Sooner or later I'll be taking a break from Usenet in order to try to
write a novel, but I'll always come back.
Once Tommy's campaign for this month's kook awards is over, I'll
probably nominate him for the Golden Killfile and then return to
talking about poetry mostly.
Incidentally, the official list of kook-award winners is here:
<http://www.petitmorte.net/phoenix/whiners.html>
There are many mirrors of the list, but this version tends to be up to
date. Those of you who in the past have enjoyed the idiots who
crossposted from soc.men might like to notice how many awards they've
picked up this year. Tommy and chuckles could achieve such recognition
too!
