It's at http://www.houseoftheorangemonkey.co.uk/misc/xmas.htm .
Even got vaguely religious music this time...
Haha, very cute! I love Mr. Monkey and the snowballs.
And yes, that's my kid with the macabre version of Jingle Bells...
Melissa
As Rik says, 3 minutes 17 seconds of amusement for the easily entertained .
. .
I am easily entertained, I guess, and I liked it very much, Rik. Thanks!
Joan
(And the music was great!)
Wonderful, Rik. Love the music..
(but you forgot to include me ;-(
Annie
Loved it, Melissa! He DOES realise this is all going to
be blackmail material for when he's a teenager, right?
MERRY CHRISTMAS RAM!
Sue D.
You've seen my Facebook, Mitchy. I am amassing a raft of blackmail material.
Including the note he wrote to me when he was mad: "You're mean and I'm not
building dinosaurs with you any more."

Ackackackackack....
Didn't move your email into the RAMXmas folder.
Wait a little...

Is it easily to hand and emailable in the next hour or two? If so, send it
now
Thanks, Rik! Wonderful as usual. Merry Christmas to you and Carol and
the estimable Mr. M.
Mary
You're evil. I like that :)
Thanks for posting it, Rik! Fleece Navy Dog!

Webtv can't handle "that sort of thing".
We'll just have to take our greetings to each other for granted.
Happy Holidays from Piliki

It's still at http://www.houseoftheorangemonkey.co.uk/misc/xmas.htm and it's
just a little bit longer.
Apologies to Annie, and I'm glad Lauradog's email finally got through.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
I want a copy of Carleen's photograph!
JimB
Awwwww!! Thank you, Rik - I love this!
Fran
It's on Facebook!
That was very well done, Rik. Thanks.
Next year I'll have to turn on some lights when I record mine.
Merry Christmas, all!
John P
I should have realized that was you earlier than I did. Merry Christmas
to you too, John - and everyone!
Mary
Gee, I've not seen our John P in a while... poor guy, we might have to
consider an intervention ;-D
Thanks so for squeezing me in there -- such fun to have this little treat
every year (and Bud's there too!).You did a great job, Rik.
Merry Merry, everyone!
Annie
But I recognised you straight away, John!

Bar-noir worked for me :)
Woodstock
Nicely done Rick, sometimes a bit fast for me to catch
the first time. But Firefox didn't like it at all, it
vanished when I tried to watch it. So, I loaded up
Seamonkey and that worked. If I make it through another
year, I'll try to do better.

Bud
What format of video can it handle? Flash? etc.

The timing, I can work on (except the still of John P, which were supposed
to be subliminalish). It worked in *my* copy of Firefox, but that's not
really much help to anyone else. Doe it consistently not work in Firefox?
Nope, I watched it in Firefox too.
Mary
> It's wonderful, Rik! And I love the music!
Thanks, Woodstock.
I bet Carol and I would sound *just* like that if we practiced more (and one
of us played the guitar, bazouki &c)
I had to install an add-on to make it work on my Firefox.

Over the 12 plus years I've been a webber, they've improved and down
graded our capabilities till we just cling to what we have and dread
the day when they "pull the plug". Microsoft bought this little gismo
and... heaven help us, you can imagine what they've done to it. Go buy
a computer, folks. That's what you -really- want, you know.
Piliki too old to train a mouse to her shaky fingers.
It worked fine for me in Firefox.
Melissa
Can you scroll up and down a webpage with WebTV, Phyllis? Or is a site made
of lots of short pages better? Or does WebTV just not handle webpages at
all?
barfly (no pun intended)
It's just that our browser is way behind in technology and MSN is not
going to waste time and money updating it any more. Our boxes are old
and no new ones are being built. It's a simple technology for simple
folks who just want to email, enjoy fellowship in news groups, and
wander the web as far as they're allowed.
Some times I can read articles y'all post and some times not. I can
usually gather from responses what they are about. I'm not always
interested (shocking, eh?) but I do greatly enjoy the friendly feeling
here and the delightful senses of humor that burst forth.
Maybe Ellen has further comments on our little black boxes.... Webtv
filled a need and it's SO easy and simple to use, isn't it Ellen?

That happens to me when I have a hangover, too. Hope you feel better
soon. <vbeg>
barfly
I don't think it was the broadband. Did exactly the same to me in Firefox as
John says. Kept cuttting out and then stopping, had to play with scroll bar,
etc.... Tried it next in IE browser and that worked fine.
Finally ended up downloading and playing it in Windows Media, except I could
not pause it. Quirky.
Annie
> Rik, Webtv scrolls and can read a web page.
Okay... try http://www.houseoftheorangemonkey.co.uk/misc/xmas2009nomovie.htm
(obviously it's not the same as the wmv, but I hope it's better than
nothing)
But, what that really baby Bryan? My goodness. How long have I been
reading RAM anyway? Sorry, Bryan. I realize you are a young man now.
Oh, and Mr Orange Monkey, don't all those lovely bookcases tempt you to
climb and swing and throw books or do you just throw snowballs? Aren't
you related to "the librarian" at Unseen University? Oook?
Heh, sure was. He's 6.5 now and is currently constructing an elaborate lego
Star Wars spaceship of some kind. He's in first grade and reads on about a
third-grade level. Shocking, isn't it? ;)
Mitchy will get to meet him this summer--more details will follow, but I am
planning a 10-day(ish) trip to the UK in June. I owe Mitchy and Rik (and
Carol) dinner after my credit card snafu last time, so I hope we can all get
together again!
Melissa
Worked fine for me on the much maligned Internet Explorer.
