If you feel up to reading, I understand there's an author named Harstad
who has some good books out. In your field, too... police procedural.
Prayers for a rapid recovery.
Piliki (I've forgotten how to spell my name!! Is that right?)
Get well soon.

(and it looks correct to me Piliki.)

Hope you feel better soon. If you were not self-quarantined, would you feel
up to going out or do you feel too yucky?

Oh damn. And I touched my keyboard before I read this.
Two words. Chicken soup. Not for you, I'm going out to lunch. See ya.

Achoo! I should never have read Don's post.

You might be able to use it as a story line for your next book.
Some where along the lines of looking for a serial killer who has
H1H1, I can see the book title now *A Swine of a Time*
You may be a little too competitive, Don. This is not a race you want
to win, you know? Just get better, fast. That race is OK.

Seriously, get yourself well soon (and don't push it!)

On the other hand, a young woman came to dinner at our place (she
and her husband like to play FRPs with my daughter and son-in-law)
and explained she hadn't been around for a while since she'd
contracted H1N1. She'd spent about a week staying home and in
bed and in semi-isolation. She was all better now and not contagious,
and her husband didn't catch it either.
So I hope it is as easy to recover from for you as it was for
her.
(I see my pulmonologist tomorrow for my COPD; I'll let him decide
whether to give me flu shots or not. I live in near-isolation
anyway....)

Should you wish to email me, you'd better use the hotmail edress.
Kithrup is getting too damn much spam, even with the sysop's filters.
I think I'd be able to make it to the local bakery....

Oh, thank goodness! Pick up a couple of dozen donuts while you're there.
Don H.
Honest, it's only a block away, and when the wind is from the south, I can
literally smell the donuts beginning about three AM. We are well located.
Don H.
Better make it four. You don't want to run short.
Hot donuts for breakfast? Maybe they'll deliver.
I could not stand to live where I could smell donuts.

I'd rather have a maple bar.

Whew! Talk about a glutton for punishment...;-)
(managed to stand in line & get my H1N1 shot today! My allergy
specialist will be pleased!)

Dorothy, I'll wager he'll say, "What're you waiting for, lady? Get
that shot!" (or words to that effect...) I was informed by my
allergist that with my COPD, if I contracted it, the odds were
approaching certainty that I would not live through a bout (and I'm
pretty isolated right now, too.) So, if he does, please, be sure to
follow his advice?
Uh, well, I saw him today and he didn't. He gave me some more
Advair to inhale, and some more Spiriva to inhale, and some
antibiotics just in case, and said "Come back in two weeks."
Maybe in two weeks I'll remember to ask him.
I'll follow his advice even if it goes out the window (kidding;
his office is on the second floor). He's cool.
LOL. There should be some comforts allowed during your self imposed
isolation.

Oh, no! I'm sorry to hear it; I hope you're not too miserable. Some
appropriate reading ,matter might be, '"Rats, Lice and History." It's
about the plague, so you see, things could always be worse.
