Good luck. I had to have that surgery 35 years ago. It's a lot easier
surgery now than it was back then. Yours should go fine and you will be
surprised in the improvement in your vision. Be sure to follow the doctor's
orders and take it easy for as long as he says to.
With the first one of mine they said I was too young for an implant. They
hadn't been using them that long. The next year They decided to put an
implant in the other eye. It is so much better than having to wear a
contact like the first one.
Last year my eye doctor finally told me they had perfected a way to put an
implant in the eye they did first. I didn't have him do it then because I
was scheduled for my third major back surgery in August. I had to have
another back surgery in March this year. I have an appointment with the eye
doctor in late July and I'm going to have the implant put in then. It will
be great to get rid of the contact.
