I watched this movie again over the weekend, and my sister-in-law mentioned
that she had seen this movie in Germany (in German) while attending school
over there. However, she also mentions that she distinctly remembers a
scene involving the Highlander's secretery, the one from the antique
dealership, being rescued as a small child by the Highlander during
Hitler's rise to power in Germany...which certainly would explain why she
appears to know about his immortality.

Has anyone seen this version, and if so, what other scenes were left out
of the US version? And is this version available anywhere?

This is so. The Highlander is seen running into a part destroyed warehouse,
(or somesuch), to get away from the fighting. Here he finds a small
girl, who's name is Rachel. A german soldier appears and shoots the Highlander,
who falls, but obviously doesn't die. Rachel, (who is about 4 or 5 in this
scene) asks 'Why didn't you die?', to which McCloud replies 'Shhh, its a
kind of magic...'

He then jumps up, surprises the German and shoots him...

Its in the standard UK PAL release, I believe this includes further scenes
that were cut from the US release, but I don't know what they are!

I do. I have the Extended Highlander, in English with Japanese subtitles.

Some scenes cut were VERY funny. Some examples:

In the Nazi Germany scene, the Highlander is basically telling the Nazi to
turn around and not look back if he wants to live. The Nazi says something
in German which appears to amount to "I'd rather die than flee", to which
the Highlander replies "Whatever you say, Jack...you're the Master Race", and
THEN shoots him. I almost died laughing.

Also a good scene right after his "swordfight" with the guy who's wife he
called a bloated warthog. It involves the fruity annonying assistant of
the noble. Quite funny.

There are other scenes, too.

That scene is in finnish video version too. In that scene
the Highlander notices a little girl in somewhere and starts
to talk to her, and then a german soldier shoots him - he is
unaffected and kills the soldier, takes the girl and carries
her away.

Note that it has been some time when I saw Highlander last time, so
don't take my words as a word of God. :)

The bit showing this was cut from the US version because it showed the Nazi's
in it. It remained in the European version because they weren't so fussy about
it as some of the americans were. Okay.

Are you sure this is the reason? I've never heard of problems with
protraying Nazi's in Americal films, especially in the "bad guy" role.

Nazi says something in German.
Conor:"Whatever you say Jack, you're the master race!"

Because it refered to them as the 'master race', just before he gunned him
down.

Hmm, although I've never seen the scene, considering he guns him down
just a few seconds later I would assume he was being sarcastic. Off all
the reasons I've heard for cutting a scene, this has to be the most
cryptic.
