I just saw GUNG HO the other day. I noticed in the opening
credits that Michelle Johnson was to be in the film, and,
recalling her performance in Blame It On Rio (drool), I looked
forward to seeing her again. As near as I could tell, she
appeared in only one scene -- she leaves her house with some
mystery guy, and unemployed auto workers call after her
with catcalls. In a few conversations in the film, we learn
she had romantic connections to the lead, Michael Keaton's
character in the past. His current SO, played by Mimi Rogers,
gets upset when he mentions her name, so it appears there's
a sore spot there. Also, the mystery man must have had some
purpose (agent trying to get her work in Hollywood?).

So I'm wondering if MJ didn't have a larger part (> 1 scene)
that got left on the editing room floor. Does anyone out there
know? This seems to be happening quite a bit latley. Lara
Flynn Boyle in Dead Poets Society and Farrah Fawcett in
Funny About Love come to mind, though they were completely
cut, not left in just one teaser scene. Any others?
