What a hoot! I'm ROTFL! This is a worse cast that that old mediocre movie
ever dreamed of! At least it's so hokey it's fun to watch.

Alternative cast list:
Dominique Francon: Melanie Griffith
Guy Francon Richard Attenborough
Gail Wynand Michael Douglas
Gordon L. Prescott Conan O'Brien
Ralston Holcombe Johnny Depp
Kiki Holcombe Wynona Ryder
Elsworth L. Toohey Garry Shandling
Peter Keating Jason Priestly
Howard Roark Don Johnson

You have GOT to be kidding (you were kidding, right?)

Picture Johnny Depp saying "That building is prepostrous! Why,
it's not even Renaissance!" Ralston Holcombe is very clearly
a blowhard, and nobody fits that mold better (and more snugly)
than Rush Limbaugh.

>Elsworth L. Toohey Garry Shandling

Garry's not evil enough. He's too much like a silly uncle.
Toohey is smarmy, brown-nosing (when convenient) and nothing
sticks to him.

>Peter Keating Jason Priestly

Peter Keating is supposed to play a person who, under the surface,
is very insecure, and even has an emotional breakdown at some
point. Jason Priestly can't act his way out of a wet paper bag.
Figure it out. Aaron Spelling can keep him.

>Howard Roark Don Johnson
Maybe.

[here's my original cast]
