Little Mermaid cover art

Did any of you look really closely at the cover of the
Little Mermaid video????

Look at the castle tower in the front middle and you
will discover that it's not really a castle tower at
all, but actually a penis.

I've heard this from different people, and actually
seen it myself, has anyone else???

This may be grist for the urban legend mill, but
I had heard, maybe here, that it was placed there
by a disgruntled Disney artist who was angry about
being ripped off, fired, etc.

I bought the tape for my daughter and checked. It is
definately there and is very unlikely to be an
accident. It is grouped with other spires on the
castle yet has a, um, distinctly different look
than the rest.

Outside the Choking Doberman aspect I think it's
interesting that whoever did it got away with it.
It's that obvious.

Is this the urban legend about the bodies of Doberman's found
skinless in dumpsters in the Louisville area? If so, it's
no urban legend. Somebody wanted a dog skin jacket...with very
sharp lapels.

This is one of those things where it's only obvious once you notice it.
Anyone who doesn't already know it's there wouldn't likely see it.

It should be noted that while Disney did *not* issue a recall of the tapes
that were already on the market, they *did* "correct" the artwork for
future printings, as well as the laserdisc release.

Never heard of this but I'm not surprised. Maybe it's some kind of
subliminal message like the camel on Camel cigarettes.
