I watched "Havana" last night (*) and noticed that Raul Julia, who
has a very important part in the movie, wasn't credited. What's the story
about this one? They didn't give him a big enough credit so he decided to
go uncredited?

(*) I watched a tape I made whenever it aired on TV a year or two ago.. Yes,
I have had this tape sitting around since it originally aired.. I finally
dubbed another movie I had on the tape, "Lifepod" (really good Fox movie
that's basically a space-based "Lifeboat", though I've never seen that one),
onto another movie tape I have... So I watched "Havana" so the tape would now
be empty. The movie was so-so.. Wasn't boring, but it wasn't the most
exciting movie either. I know people are probably going to completely
disagree with this, but it seemed to a large degree like a rehash of
"Casablanca" in a VERY rough way.

I think that's pretty much it. I read a quote a few year's back
from Julia's publicist (or somebody similar) saying he only
headlined movies, and any such smaller roles would not be
credited (such as Havana, I suppose).

What an odd attitude, since Julia has headlined very few movies (at
least in recent years; I'm not familiar with his early career).
I was thinking he was credited for his supporting role in Presumed
Innocent, though.
