Help with name of Jamie Lee Curtis movie

She starred along with Patrick Swayze in a movie in which she runs a
junkyard in some little town in the middle of nowhere. I remember a part
of the movie in which there was a demoliton derby and Swayze (boyfriend?)
got jealous because she was paying a little too much attention to a teenage
boy (who's also a major part of the movie) and rammed his car while it was
broken down (supposedly a major no-no in demolition derby..who knows) Well,
I can't remember the name of this movie. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I remember watching this movie on HBO, but I'm pretty sure I haven't seen it
in the video stores, so I don't know if it was ever released as a motion
picture. (made for cable? nah..couldn't have been) Anyway, the title of this
movie would be appreciated. Thanks.

in the UK).
