It was not Enya, it was either Karen Matheson or Capercaillie. My
friend has yet to figure out which scene goes with which song.

I believe it was Karen Matheson, who was listed in the credits as playing
the singer, and later credited with actually singing a song.

Karen Matheson is the lead singer for Capercaillie, which is one of the
better Scottish traditional groups.

Capercallie did the music for the ceilidh or gathering scene and also did
some of the music in other parts of the film.

Hope this helps.

In article <D7x4r...@crash.cts.com>, nit...@crash.cts.com (Richard Stricker) says:

It was Karen Matheson, the lead singer of the Scottish folk group
Capercaillie.

Posted on rec.movies.music there's a fabulous Rob Roy CD coming out soon
(July?) with an hour of music. A full table of contents was listed!

Looks like *all* the music and songs etc are on it!
