Interesting to note, I do believe that both "Lenny and Squiggy" played
roles in the movie "Used Cars"a as a couple of tv cameramen.
I think these two are a fine comedy team... they should be paired up
again sometime (And hopefully not only in a Lavern and Shirley reunion
special (which I'm sure is bound to happen sooner or later (gag, sputter)).
Squiggy (David Landers) was also in Wholly Moses (that Dudley Moore
comedy) I do believe, as a blind man (?).

They were hilarious in this movie. Essentially, they played a very
intelligent Lenny & Squiggy. I loved the scene where they tried to inspire
confidence in their mechanical abilities by showing the homemade pacemaker
Squiggy had installed in Lenny.

They do make a good team and I would like to see them teamed up again.
McKean has been much more visible in the last few years, I did see Landers
on a recent "Not Neccesarily the News" and there was some discussion as to
whether he had appeared in a recent Star Trek TNG. As to a Laverne and
Shirley reunion show, I find this highly unlikely. Cindy Williams left the
show under unhappy circumstances and Penny Marshall is a very big name
director now.

While "Light of Day" was not a great movie, it was interestiing to
see Michael McKean playing another rock and roller. There is one neat
scene about halfway through this movie where Michael J. Fox goes backstage
in a seedy club to talk to his sister (Joan Jett). The camera pans around
the room as they are arguing and at one point you can see "Smell the Glove"
written amidst the graffiti on the wall. This was one of Spinal Taps
albums.
