What has Bonnie Sheridan, who appeared on last Tuesday's episode of
_Roseanne_, done besides dubbing the vocals for Lolita Davidovich in _Blaze_?

If my eyes and ears are not playing tricks on me, I believe Bonnie Sheridan
used to be Bonnie Bramlett, when she was married to Delaney Bramlett.
They had a band (in the 70s?) called "Delaney and Bonnie". They released an
album titled "Delaney and Bonnie & Friends" where the "Friends" were
Eric Clapton and some others I don't recall at the moment. This was while
Clapton was going through his recovery from the many substances he was abusing
at the time. Working with this band he regained his ability to get on stage,
and improved his skills to the point that he became a front man in the
solo career that followed. In fact, the singing style that emerged bears a
strong resemblance to that of Delaney.

"D&B" were a fairly mediocre band, but it was interesting to see them on
tour with Eric in tow (and I did).

Is Bonnie getting into a rut? First, she helps Clapton back to reality,
and now she's partnered with David Crosby (at least on TV) who himself
recently returned from the land of the dead.

She was in the singing duo, Delaney and Bonnie (or was in Bonnie and
Delaney? Neither sounds right to me now!) in the 60's.

I am currently visiting Los Angeles and just saw Bonnie Sheridan live in
concert. She was part of a tribute to keyboarder William "Smitty" Smith who
suffered a stroke on Jan. 1. Other artists performing at tonight's two shows
at the Palace included Ry Cooder, David Lindley, Graham Nash, Boz Scaggs,
Brenda Russell, Mary Wilson, Rita Coolidge, Michael McDonald and Phil Perry.
Need I say more?
