One of my favorite quotes from Flatliners is in my .sig...
Me, I was impressed by how well the young actors resembled the grown-up
actors for the same character. Although I think at least one such pair had
different colored eyes :-)

Actually, I thought that the 'prequel' to BUTCH CASSIDY .., I forget
what the title was exactly, ..THE YOUNGER DAYS or the like, had
very good lookalikes for Redford and Paul Newman, which were William
Katt and Tom Berenger.

I get Samantha Mathis and Bridgette Fonda mixed up on occasion.
Seems to me that this thread proves that it is all
in the eye of the beholder. Outside of Lesley Ann Warren and
Susan Sarandon I don't see the other similarities.
The nose always helps me to avoid this confusion...:-)
Anyways here's my entry-
Meg Tilly Jennifer Tilly
Charles S. Dutton Bill Duke
I second that. Separated at birth?
There are two actors that I see enough similarity that I'd like to
see them play brothers:
Eric Roberts and Lance Heinrekson(sp?).
And as long as I'm crossing generations here, how about
Julian Sands (Warlock's I, II, III) as a young Patrick Stewart?
Joe Spampinato.
"Oh, I'm sorry - this is Abuse."
I would have sworn that Joanna Going (Josie in "Wyatt Earp") was Jamie
Gertz.

On a related note, I'd suggest:
Tammy Fae Baker and Ernest Borgnine.
I thought Robin Wright looked a lot like Mary Stuart Masterson during
the 80's scenes of Forrest Gump.

>I always get Nick Nolte mixed up with William Hurt.
This, I cannot believe. Nick Nolte is a hulking ex-football player
with a full head of hair. William Hurt is the brooding, bald guy
who is nowhere near as large as Nolte.
Well, if you put them side by side, I can tell them apart.
Busey's nastiest bad-guy role (IMHO) was in _Lethal Weapon_ (the
first one).
Actually, I've always had a little difficulty differentiating between
Al Pacino and Dustin Hoffman; until _Dick Tracy_ was made, I wasn't
sure that they weren't one in the same :-)
(now, was that Dustin in _Author, Author_ and Pacino in _Papillon_?
Naw, it's the other way around).

....On a related note, has anyone else noticed the resemblence between
Tom Hanks and Juliette Lewis? Somebody should cast them as siblings....
Seriously, I used to confuse Lori Singer with Darryl Hannah.
(Lori Singer played the girl-friend in "The Falcon and the Snowman",
and a role in "Trouble in Mind", among other films.)
In a related vein, anyone notice how there's always a slew of (usually)
actresses that have a VERY similar look? My initial example is in the late
'70s/early 80s, the whole Karen Allen, Debra Winger, Brook Adams, Margot
Kidder stable; straight shoulder length brown hair, slightly raspy voice,
big brown eyes, similar mouth. Seems there's another trend with tall,
angular, high cheekboned, straight chin lengthed brown hair actresses a la
Joan Severance and the woman who was in Speed among others.
