Sure. It's just that a LOT of misunderstanding and mis-presumption
comes from people using that word inappropriately and others believing
it. They can do cool stuff digitally for video, and quite a bit less
when producing new prints, in which cases I guess reconstruction might
be an appropriate term.
Based on what's been said here I'm guessing they're talking about THIS
IS CINERAMA and WINDJAMMER, as those appear to be the most far along.
There would be a great deal of debate if you get into the
entertainment value (and thus, marketability) of these films. From
what I've heard, CINERAMA HOLIDAY is more entertaining than
Windjammer.
I don't claim to be an expert on any of this, but frankly, even those
who DO are not the most infallible authorities, either.
