Who was Amanda Moses (Butterfly Effect)?

Who was Amanda Moses and what happened to her? The movie "Butterfly Effect" is
dedicated to her memory, but I can't find out much else. Google gives a few
hints, but no clue as to whether the Amanda Moses in question is the right one.

So, does anybody here know?

I hope this will pretty much answer your question, Kirk Moses was an assistant editor on The Butterfly Effect. It is possible she was related to him.

Just watched Butterfly effect on tv. Sure that ending is different from the dvd I watched last year with my daughter. In that, the main character died in his mother's womb and so none of the story actually happened. Am I dreaming?

Amanda Moses - we all called her 'Moses' she was one of Jonathan's (the writer/director) best friends and always referred to him as her brother to me. She was one of my dearest friends too, we'd hang out and got to concerts all of the time in the late 90s and early 2000s - she passed away in 2002. I still get sad when I think of her and it is weird not finding much online about her - she was very funny, very smart, very talented, and a fiercely loyal friend that left this world too soon. I'm only typing this because there should be more out there about her. A truly great person. She was so proud of Jonathan's career, sad that she never got to see the butterfly effect
