Peter Thomas, a mixer based in the Washington, DC/Baltimore area, died
of complications of Lyme's Disease on Wednesday May 3, 2006. Peter was
an occasional contributor to this group.

Peter was my close friend, a great guy, dedicated father and a pretty
good craftsman.

He leaves behind his wife Lindsey and 2 young sons, Evan and Ian.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news,
JG

Thanks for posting this, Jim.

I understand that an education fund is being setup for his children.
Please post the details here when you find out more.

Thanks, Jim.

Colleagues, Peter Thomas was just like all the participants of this
group in so many ways. Like the rest us, he obviously chose the
profession of TV/Film location sound not to get rich, but because his
talants drew him drew him to it. What happened to Peter that left his
young kids without a father could happen to any of us. For those who
can relate to his situation, I suggest imagining how much we would
appreciate a helping hand for our families if the tables were turned.
