I am thinking about one of these for a "thrash" mic. Which one is which<g>
or are the 1 and the 2 the same except for alkaline battery power. Thanks.

They are the exact same mic except the 2 can be self powered w/ an AA
and is a little larger.

I have a rode ntg1 and it makes a great "Thrash" mic and works very
well in the rain.
