The Quinn family, Aileen and Aidan???

I just asked this question idly as part of a reply to another post
buried in a long ongoing thread, but the more I think of it, the
more curious I get -- so I thought I'd throw it out for general
discussion with a subject title of its own.

Does anybody know whether Aidan Quinn (co-star of "Reckless" with
Darryl Hannah, also in "Desperately Seeking Susan," also in many
other films) is any relation to Aileen Quinn (played the title role
in "Annie," not much else after that) ??

If those are both their real names, then the similarity has almost *got* to
be more than just coincidence. IMDB has no information on the subject.

I don't know if Aileen is his sister but Aidan's older brother is Declan
Quinn
and is an accomplished Cinematographer. In fact Declan won the 1996
Independent
Spirit Best Cinematography Award for "Leaving Las Vegas". Also, Aidan
has
a
younger brother named Paul who is a screenwriter. Aidan and his two
brothers
are headed for Ireland early this year to film "This is My Father".
I understand that Aidan will play the father and direct.
