And "Office Space", which is getting more and more of a cult via word of
mouth - a movie that ANYONE who's ever worked in an office can respond to,
especially those of us who have to deal with copy machines and the like.

Wishes they'd stuck to a Harriman-esque design for the characters...
Yes, "Office Space" was brilliant. I guess I'm a sucker for the
downtrodden exploited masses vs. the big corporations. I also enjoyed
"Clockwatchers" very much but it wasn't as big a laugh riot as "Office
Space."

Does Rancho Deluxe count as cult? (I do like Harry Dean Stanton)

>Yes, "Office Space" was brilliant.
I thought "Office Space" lost steam about halfway through; it veered
from obvious but potent satire of the Internet Age white-collar
workplace (which rings absolutely true to so many of us) to a sort of
geekoids-on-the-loose climax that dragged on too long (the scene where
the guys take the printer out to a field to stomp on it was treated as
if the act itself were hysterically funny rather than the _impulse_
we've all felt to bash up a piece of office equipment). I wish the
whole movie had had that "Dilbert" spirit & deadpan wit instead of
just the first hour or so.
I consider "After Dark" a cult film. It seems to have fallen off the
radar screen, though.
I pretty much agree with that. It has some laughs and some genuinely
inspired moments, but it falls way short of classic status (and I've
watched it a few times just to make sure).
I do like Ron Livingston, though, and wish we'd see more of him. It's
hard to play the understated lead in a comedy, letting everybody else
bounce off of you, and still sustain enough energy to carry the movie
without disappearing. Recently, Josh Hamilton has pulled it off in a
few decent movies, and Luke Wilson gave that kind of performance in
Bottle Rocket, before he became Luke Wilson. But the lead in Clerks,
for instance- whose name I can't remember- I found abysmal.
> The WW2 British film ."The Wooden Horse".
Trivia note: this true story was set in the same
POW camp in which the "Great Escape" story was set.
The escape attempts were about six months apart.
From what I've read, this camp was so large that
it was probably impossible for all internees to
get to know more than a fraction of all the others.

"City that never sleeps".
Neither Blockbuster or any other local

find them online but would like to just
get them locally if possibly. Oh well.

Heck, my public library has City that Never Sleeps, but this is exactly

Blockbusters/Rogers Video and their ilk steamroll the video rental market.

That's right. And that song, along with "Downtown",

I like to include John Drew in here as well.
In any case John Drew must have had her late in life, I remember him in THE
TROJAN HORSE back in the early 1960s.

I enjoy probably another 14 films (of the ones I've seen), but the
list above would take top prize thus far.
I'm having some trouble locating: "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!,"
"City Gardens," "A Bucket of Blood," "The Best of Everything," "Love
Streams," "Superstar: The Karen Carpenter Story," and "The Decline of
Western Civilization II: The Metal Years."
Some of the other films are just mediocre to me, while I've always
strongly disliked films like "The Big Lebowski," "The Adventures of
Buckaroo Banzai," "Pink Flamingos," "The Harder They Come," and "Faces
of Death."
But don't take any of this to heart: EW sucks and so does the list.
Basically, of what I consider a cult film, "The Warriors" is my
favorite cult film.

He was generally unforgettable. The first thing I saw him in was a made for
TV movie, /Winchester '73/, not to be mistaken with the version we all know
and love.
But picture him as a character named "preacher" in the Wild West. (Don't
forget to hear his voice as you imagine this).
I also saw him on TV on Rawhide and on Wild Wild West.

Are you talking about 1967's 'Gunn'? It's apparently not available on

past year - think it was on TCM.

with 'Invisible Invaders' (also John Agar).

No they were taking series ala 007, but I guess the film tanked so badly and
so.
Remember "Remo Williams, The Adventure Begins"? He was going to be the blue
collar James Bond, the first feature didn't do well and so the Adventure(s)
ended.

Well, not a huge career. Besides her several movies, she starred in the
Saturday morning "Secret of Isis", and looked REAL good doing it. Here's

Maybe. I've seen stills that seem to be from movies that are supposed to be
her. Of course, they *might* be from BS, I've never seen that except chopped
to ribbons on local TV. I have no idea if the stills I've seen that are from
it are actually in any print of the film.

OH YES, I remember her now but I knew her as Jo Anna Cameron, lovely lady.
Derire Hall (Days of Our Lives) also started as a Saturday morning superhero, I
don't remember the title of the show but I know it was MS Hall and another
woman.

That would be 'Electra Woman and Dyna Girl', one of those Sid & Marty
Kroft things. I don't remember it myself. Deidre Hall did this after she
left 'The Young & the Restless' and before joining 'Days of Our Lives'.
BTW, it took me less time to find this info on IMDb than it did to type

Well, if you don't already lust for her from Isis, I'm not sure I can recommend
