Who played the witch (Ms. Quinn) in "Waking Ned Devine"? The cast listed Anne
Bancroft in this role, but it sure didn't look like Anne, or even act like her?
In fact, the character looked and acted just like the waitress in "Breathing
Lessons", with Joanne Woodward and James Garner, on Hallmark Hall of Fame.
Wouls appreciate hearing from anyonw who knows and hslp solve a family
disagreement! Thanks.

Lizzy Quinn was, according to the IMDb, played by Eileen Dromey. The Anne
Bancroft in the movie is NOT Mrs. Mel Brooks, but another person of the same
name.
Neither of them were in BREATHING LESSONS, an American movie.

It wasn't. See < http://www.us.imdb.com >
Eileen Dromey played Lizzy Quinn. Bancroft played
"a citizen of Tulleymore".

Dromey's name isn't on the list of actors in this film at imdb,
so that's doubtful.

Is that possible? I mean, unless "Mrs. Mel Brook" isn't an actress, then how
would the guild allow that?

You're joking, right? I mean, by referring to him as "Mel Brook" you seem to
be suggesting you're winking at us. You DO know Mel Brooks is married to Anne
Bancroft, right?
The SAG doesn't have a lot of control over Irish movies.
