'Soft Like Me' (short film) is extremely disturbing!!!

The film is Soft Like Me (1996), a 26-minute short film by Jeff
Erbach, the director of The Nature of Nicholas.

On a prairie wheat field in a mythical past, boys are enslaved to
harvest wheat. They hope to escape, but with hope comes punishment ---
firm and final punishment. Linus is a new lad to the farm. He soon
discovers what he believes to be an angel, come to rescue them all.
After she is cut to pieces by the grown-up slavemasters, though, he
revises his opinion...
