What's the title of the Bob Marley album that Will Smith raves about in
2007's I am Legend?

Once Upon A Time,
Thanks. I followed that link and got the song they were talking about,
"Three Little Birds", but when I heard it I knew it was not the song Smith
plays while raving about the album. Cross-checking the IMDB soundtrack
listing left "Stir it Up" and "Redemption Song" (I already knew it was not
"I Shot the Sheriff"). After hearing "Stir it Up" I knew I had a match.

According to Wikipedia, the version of "Stir it Up" that Smith plays
appears on the Marley albums "Catch a Fire" and "Legend". I had to do some
frame-by-frame checking, but the image on the CD that Smith hands to the
girl matches the Google images of the cover of "Legend". And all four
Marley songs that IMDB lists for the movie are included on that album.

Thanks again for your help.

I'm familiar with "Stir it Up"; I don't think I've heard "Three Little
Birds".

In 1987 I taught high school social studies in a private school near
Nassau, Bahamas, and I became good friends with another teacher from
Santo Domingo. We would go by one of the several Rasta camps around
Nassau, pick up a nickel bag and drive around the island with a bottle
of suds listening to "Ride, Natti Ride" and "Don't Bend Down" among
other Marley songs.

Great times - even when we were stopped and searched by CID once near
a deserted beach. They found a nickel, but they just laughed and
walked away when they found out we were both teachers. I asked the
one guy for ID, and he just pulled back his jacket to reveal a .357
magnum.
