I don't know that Ms. Goddard was spanked more than once, in the 1940
film, "Reap the Wild Wind". True, in 1942's "Northwest Mounted Police"
her character was supposedly spanked (by Lynne Overman), but Ms. Goddard
merely went through the motions while the "action" was played out
off-screen. True, there is a shot that shows Overman landing one last
swat to his victim's derriere, but if you look closely you will see it
isn't Paulette, it's a body double.
Lucille Ball, of course, was spanked on-screen FOUR TIMES, in her "I
Love Lucy" show, each time by Desi Arnaz. Estelita Rodriguez was
spanked on screen twice, once in her debut movie "Mexicana" (1945), and
again in "The Fabulous Senorita" (1952). Speaking of latinas, the
lovely Maria Elena Marques was spanked on screen twice in the same year
(1951), by Clark Gable in "Across the Wide Missouri" and by Jorge
Negrete in Mexico's "Tal Para Cual".
The lovely Geraldine Chaplin was spanked in two Carlso Saura films of
the 1960s, "Stress es Tres, Tres" and "La Madriguera", and a dozen years
later Ms. Chaplin received one hard swat from another actress, Dominique
Sande, in "Voyage en Douce".
Betty Hutton was spanked twice, once in 1944's "And the Angels Sing" (by
Eddie Foy Jr.) and again in 1945's "Cross My Heart" (by Sonny Tufts).
Martha Hyer was spanked twice by the same actor, Tim Holt, once in
"Thunder Mountain" (1947) and again in "Rustlers" (1949). Dorothea Kent
was spanked by a woman in "More Than a Secretary" (1936) and by a man
ten years later in "Behind the Mask" (1946). And before she became the
star of TV's "Annie Oakley", Gail Davis was spanked in an episode of
"The Cisco Kid" (by Duncan Renaldo) and a 1960 episode of "The Gene
Autry Show" (by Autry).
There are probably other candidates, but these are the ones that come to

Maureen O'Hara was spanked publically in "McLintock" by John Wayne and
Stefanie Powers was spanked by Patrick Wayne, his son, in the same movie.

Patty McCormack scene is noted, but as she was only 12 at the time,
her spanking isn't the turn-on it would have been, ten years later.
As for the "Sky King" scene with Gloria Winters, I've glad to hear
about it. Now if we could just find that scene on videotape....
But I beg to differ on Marion Davies. I saw "The Patsy" when it
screened at the L.A. County Museum of Art (purportedly an uncut
version), and there is no spanking scene in it. You say Marion was
spanked by an actor who plays her father, and that makes me wonder if
you are thinking of "Bachelor Father", a 1931 film which spawned a
publicity still showing C. Aubrey Smith in the act of spanking his
screen daughter, Marion Davies. But here again, there is no such
scene in the film. But the odds did finally catch up to Ms. Davies,
in the 1931 film, "Five and Ten", where she is put across the lap of
Kent Douglass. Is this the one you were thinking of?

lot. The old Movie Star News used to have it as a category of movie
stills for sale.
But for actresses with multiple scenes you'd need someone who
consistently played strong women who needed (for the sake of the plot)
to be bent to the will of some man. Don't know if anyone else could
measure up to O'Hara on that. Katharine Hepburn never bent.
