Does anybody out there recognize the following quote from a movie?

"The theater, the theater, what's happended to the theater?"

The only thing I know for sure is that the speaker had a distinct British
accent, but I don't have a clue what movie it was from.

Just a guess - there is a scene near the beginning of "All About Eve"
(greatest movie ever made, IMO), soon after Gary Merrill's character
has just met Eve, and he begins lecturing her about the theater;
she's expressed dismay that he could leave the theater and go out
to Hollywood and direct, and he launches into a tirade about what
"the theater" includes. It does have him repeating, "the theater, the
theater" in a somewhat affected tone.

It's from the movie White Christmas. It's from Danny Kaye's song
Choreography.
