Did President Obama agree? Is presidential approval really required for
something like this? I don't know. But the comments that follow this
article are full of Usenettish WAGs on the subject, if you enjoy that
sort of thing.

Seems unlikely he was even informed, much less in agreement. Note the
recent 'Mr. Robot' ep, wherein the Prez calls out the show's villains,
by name...

If you're talking about 'Mr. Robot', I read somewhere (and who can doubt
me) that neither he nor Leon Panetta(?) contributed. Otoh, if you mean
BATTLESHIP, that could be different, owing to the irresistible power of
movies...

It definitely sounded like an Obama impersonator to me.
