Do you know the title of this film which I saw in the late seventies
and which made a great impression on me. I think it is Australian and
it's about a couple that are going to marry. But when they settle down
in the countryside the woman gets frantic and just takes off. Later in
life he finds her living in a whore-house. And she expresses her wish
of "becoming so little that nobody can see her". A scene from her
childhood is shown when her parents were jelling at each other(?).
Quite bergmanesque. I would like to watch this film again.
