1) Brandon Lee was NOT murdered. Through neglegence or stupidity,
the propmaster did not unload the prop gun used in the scene of
its blanks. The actor, for whatever reason, pointed the gun
directly at Brandon instead of close to but not directly on him.
The gun was fired, something hit Brandon in the abdomen and
he died in a hospital 12 hours later.
2) The film, at the time of Brandon's death, only had a few more
days of filming left. Brandon himself only had one or two days
left, filming mainly things like him walking down the street.
Some scenes were shot with a stand-in, with Brandon's face digitally
pasted over the unknown actor. Other scenes (like Draven's coming
back to his apartment, when he's wet, shivering and hunched over as
he goes through the door) his whole body was digitally lifted from
other scenes and inserted there. The character's death was changed
from being shot to being stabbed, then shot, which throws him through
the window.
The actor who pulled the trigger, who I will not name on the Internet,
was horribly crushed by Brandon's death. He did not participate in
the reshoots after Brandon's death and he did not seek acting work
again for almost two years (I recently saw him in a movie about two
weeks ago). It was a tragic accident. Several people made very stupid
mistakes, but in no way was it murder. The local DA decided not to
press charges, as the evidence points to it being an accident.
Brandon was killed accidentally by another actor during the filming of
"The Crow", when the prop gun discharged a fragment negligently left
behind when the gun was loaded with blanks. The fault was that of the
crew overseeing the firearms used in the movie, and no charges were filed
against the actor who unknowingly fired the fatal shot. Most of the film
had been completed, but doubles were used in some parts (to rewrite the
method of death for Brandon's character, for example), and in some scenes
overlays of Brandon were placed against new backgrounds -- it's quite a
brilliant piece of filmmaking, considering. If you want more details
