HELP! SIXTIES UK FILM TITLE

I am desperately trying to find out the name of a film that I saw on UK
TV about 5 years ago. It was set in the urban sixties (London?) and made
in the sixties I think. It was black and white. It was about a
middle-class blonde girl who moves to a working class area and works in
a factory, and her relationships with people. The reason I want to find
out about this film is because I want to find out who performed the
soundtrack. It was all by one 60's English group who had alot of
harmonies in their vocals. Any ideas? I couldn't find out about the
group at the time because the BBC did not show the closing titles!

or "Up the Junction (1965) (TV)" - music by Manfred Mann.
