1995 Oscar eligible films, as of 3/24/95 (short list)

This is the "short list" of all films that, by my calculations,
fit the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences qualifications
for the 1995 Oscars. It is arranged alphabetically, and only lists
the name and release date of the film. More data on the films listed
and the criteria used can be found in my companion "long list" weekly
postings. You may think of this as an index to that list.

Nope, that's not quite right. Unless this is a different movie with the
same title, A Great Day in Harlem was a documentary that was nominated
for best documentary this year.
