Is Shahrukh Khan a nephew of Dilip Kumar? I just heard it on
radio. What is the relation - maamaa, chaachaa, phoophaa or mausaa?

Yeah, Raja, Shah Rukh Khan is Dilip Kumar's nephew. For some reason,
a lot of people don't know this.... I don't know why. There are some
actors that are, upon entry into the industry, immediately promoted as
so-and-so's son, brother, etc. For example, Sunny Deol was promoted a
lot because he was Dharmendra's son, Bobby Deol as Sunny Deol's brother,
Faisal Khan as Aamir Khan's brother, Sunjay Dutt as Nargis' son, etc. A
lot of these actors have a tough time breaking away from the shadow of
their relatives. In the case of Shah Rukh, however, he is already such a
capable actor that he doesn't have to be promoted as anyone's son,
nephew, etc. Also, when he first entered the film industry about
four/five years ago, he was already a well-known television star. So for
this reason and others, no one really put too much emphasis on Shah Rukh
being Dilip's nephew. Even then, I'm curious to know why the film media
hasn't mentioned this more often.... Any ideas, anyone?
Oh, by the way, I believe Dilip is Shah Rukh's.... damn... I don't
know how to spell it. Basically, I think Shah Rukh is Dilip's sister's
son. I think the resemblance between Shah Rukh and Dilip is uncanny
sometimes. Just check out some of Shah Rukh's side-poses in movies like
Darr and Karan Arjun. Even recently, in DDLJ, when Shah Rukh is all
dressed up in Paris..... there's quite a resemblance.
I heard that a new actor named Ayub Khan is also one of Dilip's
nephews. But this guy can't touch Shah Rukh. He's made one movie and it
flopped miserably. I don't see him going anywhere...

I think you are confusing SRK for Ayub Khan (Mashooq, Salaami, Sanjay).
Ayub Khan is Dilip Kumar's nephew, the son of Begum Para

As I said, Shah Rukh Khan is the nephew of Dilip Kumar. You're right
about Ayub Khan being Dilip's nephew, but Shah Rukh is also DEFINITELY

Negative. Call Dilip a monkey, if you want (Others wanted to call him a
Donkey.....you are in august company), but he is NOT the uncle of SRK.

No, Shah Rukh Khan is not related to Dilip Kumar. I think you must
mean Ayub Khan who is a nephew of Dilip Kumar.
