What happened to Kiran Vairale...........Where is she????

Hello everybody:

For the longest time I thought kiran vairale was the "cutest" actress to hit the
silver screen. Too bad she did not take off. I believe one of her memorable roles
was in "Namkeen" as the youngest sis. Of course her other long roles were in
Naram Garam, Shubh-kaamana, and she was the maria in Saagar.

Just wondering where she is NOW. Is she a part of the tele-serial or
Cable-TV boom back home. Or is she lying low.

Just wondering. Anybody know any other movies where she has good roles.

Kritika Desai married Imtiaz Khan. (She played Vijayendra Ghatge's
daughter-in-law in Buniyaad).
BTW it was Imtiaz khans 4th wedding and her first. (Some people
are daring! :-) )

Kiran Wairale had a small role in Premrog too. I remember reading
some time ago that she got married and totally gave up
films/TV Serials

To those who are wondering what became of Kiran Virale... here is the
scoop. Kiran now lives in New Jersey, actually has been living there for
several years. She is married and has one kid. She has more or less
given up her acting career. For a while in the mid/late 80's she
appreared has a host on the now defunct tri-state area TV show -- Visian
of Asian. She was last seen in propoganda film for a South Asian women's
group based in New York -- Sakhi. She portrayed the role of a battared
houwife living in New York.

Kiran Vairale was one of the most powerful character actor in the period 1977 to 1986. In this period her best films were Namkeen (a film gulzar saab), Prem rog, Saverey Wali Gaadi, Ek Baar Kaho etc.

Just bumped into this thread. Would like to share an interesting trivia. Kiran Vairale acted in a Kannada movie with Anil Kapoor and this was Mani Ratnams directorial debut movie. Name Pallavi Anu Pallavi. One of its famous songs is " naguva nayana madhura mouna" you can find it on youtube.

The music from this song as lifted by one of the telecom companies in their ads a few years ago.

My back luck that i did not recognise hr..being so close to her...she was in Inamdar Hospital, Pune (from 3rd to 6th July, 2019) visiting one of her relative and I was so much next to her..helloed her..she even spoke to me....i thought i knew her but could not recollect....but it was too late when i found out it was the same kiran Virale of Oh Maria!!!!!

I really felt shit...atleast i could have taken a pic...because i liked her so much
