Wow what a movie! The first half is so much fun and
entertaning that you feel that even if the rest of the movie was a
blank screen it would be still be worth watching.
Kareena is brilliant as the bubby irrepressible Sikh girl and
its impossible to believe she will make you cry in the second half ,
but she does.
I liked the ways they tell of how to get over your exs when
you have been dumped. They have found a revenge center in the brain ,
more developed in women where one gets great satisfaction on getting
even. Have witnessed it first hand.
The songs and dances are great , I liked the hill people one
in Manali and the costumes there should be the next fashion hits.
A Sikh friend asked me to look out for a match for his daughter , and
I heard of one , but she refused even to meet him - she doesnt want to
marry anyone with a beard and a turban. Evolution is not just due to
mutation , but even more important is sex selection , if women dont
select bearded men , in 90% of the ads in Punjab times , they specify
clean shaven , then bearded men will get scarcer.
The color photography is outstanding.
Really really enjoyed this and am planning to take my gora
staff to see it .

I liked the fact that the item dance with those heart thumping
beautiful gorees comes just before the end of the movie , before they
roll the credits, and not after when everyone is walking out.

Its difficult to imagine Kareena being a good actress. But lot of
friends have told me she is good in this movie. Plan to check it out
tomorrow :)

Saw this movie again ,and will probably see it a third time.
Kareena's acting makes it even better than DDLJ!
There were five English kids who ran into the movie theater at
the start , obviously they had come from another movie which had just
finished and were having a freebee . Thought they would depart ten
mins into the movie but in fact they stayed till the interval , a
whole 90mins .
There were also two beautiful blondes who had come on their
own and they stayed for the whole movie! It really is a brilliant
movie , how lucky we are to be living after 5b years of evolution in a
time when we get to see such marvellous movies on the big screen!
I think it deserves to be an all time blockbuster.

didn't see any movie in last six months because I am saving myself
for two mega releases on diwali. thanks lord ! kareena dumped her rat
look alike boyfriend.
This dewali SRK will clash with four generations of kapoors and
india's finest director.the result is out already-SRK is a bad habbit,
but, I am going to watch saawariyan first because raj kapoor's soul
will be present in theatres. every south asian should watch sawariyan
to pay respect to raj kapoor and pirthivi raj.
