Love and God was released in 1986.

The movie you are talking about is "Professor ki Padosan". Amitabh Bachchan
is not there in the movie. He only provides narration in the beginning
of the movie (in which he says that the movie is dedicated to Sanjeev Kumar).
I am not sure about its date of release. Might be 95/96. As you correctly
mention, Sanjeev Kumar is invisible in the second half of the movie
(he drinks some kind of potion which makes him invisible) and Sudesh
Bhosle dubbed for him.

The movie is a comedy and is no great shakes. It also stars Asha Parekh and
Padmini Kolhapure. I guess the movie was probably canned for a long time
before they decided to complete it.

This would mean that "Love and God" was not the last released movie
of Sanjeev Kumar.

AFAIR, it is "Qatl" released in 1985. This movie had Sarika and Marc
Zuber in negative roles.

But, if I start acting in movies, I will continue where the real
Sanjeev Kumar had left off.

Sanjeev Kumar! (Kasam aur Bachpan se!)

I think it was Professor ki Padosan. I think in the movie he died half way
since there were very few scenes later in the movie he was shown in (hence
assuming they shot the movie roughly in the story-order). He was shown to
have become invisible in the later half of the movie.

Also this movie is dedicated to him.. so I do believe he died while shooting
for this movie.

i wonder how effective can be the "invisible" sanjeev kumar story?
i mean, even if he is invisible, the director would have to put in some
scenes where he is visible to the audience (to keep the story from
getting confusing to the audeince). would it not be easier to make the
character played by sanjeev kumar die in the story?
