hi,
I saw prem granth recently. This is the shitty movie I have ever seen.
I did not expect such movie from RK productions. And I do not understand
why Madhuri accepted such role in first place. The music is hopeless,
shooting is not good, direction is zero. I think Rajiv kapoor should
quit and open up "old news paper ki dukan"!!
Besides this both Rishi kapoor and Madhuri look fat in this movie.

Although I'm true fan of Madhuri and only Madhuri, I see downfall of
Madhuri Dixit has started...

I'll very surprised if this movies runs for more than a week.

any comments ?

I thought the plot of this movie was a bit refreshing. Acting on both
roles were good. Rishi has lost some weight.
The movie has been playing in all of L.A for 3 weeks straight every
single day.

Overall a bad movie that can easily be missed and for me
personally that was the last Hindi movie that I am going
to see in a long while; totally disgusted with what is
being produced.

I agree...for the most part the movie wasn't too great. It was an
outright copy of Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles. Although
Madhuri looked really good (from the neck up). One scene that I though
was surprisingly scary was where she gets raped. Madhuri's expressions
are good and the way she keeps asking for her clothes back when the rapist
rips them off was perfect.

probably too good for my liking .. I felt the scene was shot a bit too
elaborately. Half the theatre couldnt stand the rape and left the movie .. that
included me too. But i did come back after a coffee break. Watched the movie,
where she is at shammi's farm. The movie did go on well after that. Madhuri's
acting was good, Rishi had more of a supportive role and he did his job well.
As well as shammi goes .. i still feel he has to stop acting. I cant recollect
any catchy songs though...

The movie does not apeal to me at all, as i do not particularly like
madhuri, as she is not natural. she wears too much make-up and does not
have a figure, as for rishi he is too old and fat to be taking a hero's
role, he should start acting his age! I would choose Kajol and Akshay
over them any day. kajol is the most natural actress to hit the screen for
a long time and i think she will wipe out the competition very quickly.

The songs are pretty good, though I felt they drowned out the second
half of the movie so much that it almost became light. The rape is
what's going to get Madhuri another Filmfare (that is, unless Manisha
once again rocks the world in Khamoshi)
