Review: 'Go Goa Gone'

Rating: One Star

. . If this is meant to be a kinky, madcap, youth
centric hallucinatory fantasy, sorry it isn�t. Rather
it�s juvenile, derivative of Hollywood�s B-grade zombie
zappers (notably George A Romero�s Night of the Living
Dead), and at points makes you feel quite sick and
uneasy. The ripping of bodies, the chalkily made-up
junior artistes passing off as cannibalistic critters,
and beach boogies, aren�t exactly entertainment.

Anything goes here, with the screenplay concocting its
own rules, be it cocaine powder serving as the only
lethal weapon to counter the flesh chompers, or a boat
which performs strange feats at intervals of 18 hours. As
for the besieged threesome, with a mandatory damsel in
distress (Puja Gupta),they don�t ever evoke your concern . . .
