NORMALLY TODAY'S film start with a formula opening but
Super Good films' "Chatrapathi" presented by JJ Good
Films has a different opening and this makes the viewers
get absorbed in the film right from the first frame.
Sarath Kumar as the driver of a college bus is soft and
calm. But one is sure that the character will certainly
turn fiery the minute his true self is revealed. The
screenplay takes you to a different situation.

The hero is a bus driver in a catering college where the
heroine is also studying. He is also running an
orphanage. He is in love with the heroine but she does
not know it. Rowdies tease a girl student of the college.
Chatrapathi murders the rowdies. One day the heroine
enters the hero's room and comes to know about his past
life including the murder of the rowdies. The heroine
knows about his kindness and other good activities and is
thrilled that the hero is not an ordinary man. She
requests him to tell her his life story and he narrates
it to her.

The President of India honours the hero with the highest
award 'Paramveer Chakra' for his exemplary action of
annexing a portion of Siachen Glacier from the
neighbouring country. After getting the award the hero
goes to his native place, where a political leader has
annexed the land belonging to the hero. The man who got
back a portion of the land from the neighbouring country
is unable to get back his own land. He knows that a
political leader is behind all this. This provokes him to
eradicate political leaders who are acting against
religion and community. Because of this he is arrested by
the police and brought to court. Chatrapathi says that
his act is justified and he always wanted to destroy
anti-social elements that disturb the society. The court
hands over the hero to the military forces.

Sarath Kumar as the hero has done justice to his
character and has shown restrained acting in the first
half and is full of vigour and action in the second.
Nikita ably supports him. Pooja in a negative role is
promising. Rajesh as the man who gives respects to the
national flag plays a brilliant character. Vadivelu makes
us laugh occasionally. A. Karthik Raja's camera work is
noteworthy. S. A. Raj Kumar's music is significant. Two
songs, 'Ragasiyamai' and 'Ore Oru Raathiri' (a dance by
Rambha) will certainly be on the lips of the viewers.

The film has love, sentiment, and heroism as the title
suggests. The dialogue is crisp and director Srimahesh
who makes his debut is also in charge of story,
screenplay and dialogue. He should have worked a little
more, mainly in the second half.

The terrorist mission of Jesus stated in the Christian bible:

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not so send
peace, but a sword.
"For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the
daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in
law.
"And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
